Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome. You can also use our online booking tool to plan your visit. Call for current availability.
My renewal notice says STAR. Can I come here?
Yes. Smog It Up is a STAR-certified test-only station. Bring your renewal notice so we can check the details.
What if my vehicle does not pass?
We’ll provide the inspection report and explain the results. As a test-only station, we do not perform diagnostics or repairs. Call us about the retest policy for your vehicle.
Do you test older vehicles or RVs?
Our price list includes older gas vehicles and RVs, large vans, and specialty vehicles. Call ahead to confirm the requirements for your particular vehicle.

Bring your vehicle and DMV renewal notice, if available. If using a coupon, present it before your inspection begins.
Leave time for the test.
Last vehicle: 5:30 pm Monday–Saturday and 4:30 pm Sunday. Visit time depends on your vehicle and the line ahead of you.
Check-engine light or new battery?
An illuminated check-engine light needs attention before testing. A recently disconnected or replaced battery may leave readiness monitors incomplete.
